Felony
Any felony charge is considered a very serious offense and has equally serious consequences. There are six degrees (or levels) of felonies in the state of Texas, varying in offense and punishment. Serious to more serious degrees are: state jail felony, third degree felony, second degree felony, first degree felony, murder and capital murder. If you are charged with any degree felony, it is very important that you choose an experienced criminal defense attorney that will fight with you and for you against the charge(s).
